Well, I'm not in the "in" crowd either, I just go to have fun. Ricky was taking pictures for Crawl Magazine and they are kinda on the extreme edge from the 2 issues I got at the FFA. So that's why he was taking pics of the more extreme rigs and such.
My heep is on 33's and no-one ever takes pics of it except for my little crew of Ignant Offroad folks I ride with, but it's all good. If you see the Red TJ on 33's out there, come ride with us and hang out around the fire and do some drinking too.

tony come up and he took pics of him and Tony's friend came up behind him and he took pics of him too, but the next 3 jeeps that came up behind them Ricky b. walked off no pics of those jeeps and i did not think that that was right. . Maybe they did not tip the photographer. ;D Tonys friend.

After reading this post I had to go back and look at my photos. I have shots of a Yellow CJ turning around on Loose Rock before Tony and "Tony's friend", and black yota, and a greyish YJ with a tan cage after that. If I'm on the trail and there is action going on, I'm shooting. Regardless of what kind of rig, "in" crowd or not. If there isn't action, or if everyone's simply walking the obstacle with ease making it look boring, I move on.
These big events have so much going on all the time in the back of your mind you're always wondering if you're missing something somewhere else, and many times you are.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but where in the fine print of the release you signed did it say you would get your picture taken or press in a mag? Bring your own friend with a camera to take pics of your junk like everybody else does.

I have been Ricky B.'s friend for over three years. Do you think I've ever been in Crawl? NO.
Advice to you:
If you want to be in the magazine, bring a camera and take pics of your own rig, then send it in to average Joe.

I used to beat on my junk a lot harder and got more pics taken because of it. Now I've realized that I need beefier parts if I'm gonna continue doing that.
P is right though, the majority of the pics you see are either an awesome rig or a rig having the snot beat out of it. ;D

Boofawkinghoo.... RickyB was working and being that he works for "the most hardcore offroad magazine in the world" that is the type of rigs he is looking for. I can assure you I have known him a number of years now and he has taken tens of thousands of pics and there have been plenty of rigs of all sizes.

meh, my junk is haggard as hell and janky as balls and it still gets shot, maybe its the right pedal application technique you are using. It also may be because you have a jeep

If the offended party was at Loose Rock late Sunday afternoon they must have been the ones that abandoned their vehicles in the middle of the trail. Talk about NOT FAIR. Learn some trail ettiquitte.
