Greyrock was fun at the June Jam. Since we a mostly stock (lift, 31” tires) I got a group of other stockers together. All these we folks were new to Greyrock so I became the leader of the pack since we also trail there. From their input, they wished Greyrock had more 1 and 2 trails. I know that most of CAOS has built rigs and love the 3’s and up trails and really don’t care for the easy stuff. From talking to the new comers, they were scared to try most of the trails since most of them are 3’s and up. Now here is my input (just an ideal). I would love to see more 2 rating trails for the new 4x4 people that are staring out. Something they can get experience from and to build up their confidence. By doing rating 2 trails, they will get comfortable and they will add on to their rigs to adventure off on the 3’s rating trails. This also would attract more members and people to adventure out to Greyrock. I looked at the Morris ORV Park on the internet and all their trails are 3 and up. That is the reason why I have not adventured out to the park. Not much place for the stock or semi stock trucks and jeeps (daily drivers). So why waste the money? Also if you look at it from a different angle, if you get more daily 4x4 stock vehicles (families) out there on the events, more support we would have for parks, land use, etc….. Comments?

There are plenty of dirt roads in the National Forests for the under 31" crowd.
When you were at June Jam did you see all of the rigs with over 38" tires? This is who this park caters too. There are a few trails that would meet your ranking, but that is not what sells tickets.
People who come to the park as spectators don't want to see some stocker go up an incline... they want to see the guy with 400 hp giving it he** all the way to the top of tub rock or cable hill.
Save your money and gain knowledge by going to these events and build a rig that can handle the obstacles you want to conquer. That is the way most all of us have what we have.

I agree with you but i am not the one complaining about the trails.
and those trails you say you can do in 26 inch tires i would love to see... Mabey with the right wheel base, width, and some sort of traction aids but not in a ford ranger like i think the first guy has.
anyway my point was if you think gray rock does not have trails that you want to ride then build your rig to handle what you want to accomplish. And most of the trails at gray rock can not be run with a normal wheelbase and width with tires less than 33's and lockers.
Every event the trails just get harder. Why do you think the bunny slopes have their name.
