How much more are they going to strip mine at the park? Are we going to lose the best place around to ride? Heard many stories form the grape vine but nothing firm.

There will be plenty to ride. Mining, while a large area, is not affecting many trails. GrayRock Canyon is the closest, but will stay. Cable Hill, Tippy Toes, Loose Rock, will all be lost at some point in the future.
This is my understanding from talking with Tony. Perhaps he will drop in and add some.

How many more trails have been lost to mining since Dec. ride? I believe the canyon was gone then. Tony keep us up to date.

The Canyon is still there, did the first part of it this morning, but there was too much slow traffic. How you get to the canyon is different, and more difficult (level 2, 3 when wet). I don't think any trails are gone since Decmber ride.

Thanks for being understanding though, If these new guys dont ever try more challenging stuff they wont ever know how much fun it can be. It was the first time that either had attempted the canyon, and with both on 33s and just front lockers they were SYKED.....what its all about!

When I saw y'all having trouble on the first part, our best option was just to back out. We went and did everything on the 160 Loop side, but never made it back to run the canyon.
